JoJo's Bizarre Adventure Part 3 Stardust Crusaders Arc by Arc Review (02/10)

Dark Blue Moon

While waiting for their next mode of transportation at a ship dock, Polnareff agreed to join Jotaro's group and told them his original reason for joining DIO. Polnareff's sister had been killed by a man with two right hands and had now come to the conclusion that the killer was one of DIO's men.

The group, now joined by Polnareff, boards a ship recommended by the Speedwagon Foundation where all passengers's backgrounds were checked to make sure no one was a Stand user. They come across Anne, a runaway girl, who snuck aboard and suspect her to be a new enemy Stand user, but soon discover that the real enemy was an impostor who took the place of the real Captain.

The Impostor Captain Tennille faces Jotaro in battle but is defeated. His Stand Dark Blue Moon has half of its head ripped off by Star Platinum.

Strength

The group boards a mysterious ship, only to find it completely empty. The only thing aboard is a single orangutan, who seems to have some unnatural tendencies. The orangutan named Forever kills the sailors that accompanied the group and assaults Anne in an attempt to rape her, but is stopped by Jotaro Kujo. The others are trapped by the ship itself, which bends over in unnatural ways due to a Stand no one can see. They come to the conclusion the ship is bound to the Stand Strength and Forever is its user, so Jotaro pummels him to death even after he surrendered.

The Devil

In Singapore, now accompanied by the runaway, Anne, the Joestar group decides to pass the night at a hotel.

In his room, Jean Pierre Polnareff is attacked by famous assassin and Stand user Devo the Cursed. Tricked into making Devo hate him, Polnareff has a hard battle against a demonic doll bound with Ebony Devil before finally overpowering the enemy, cutting its leg.

Polnareff demands information on the man with two right hands, but when Devo denies knowing anything about him, Polnareff completely destroys the Stand, killing Devo.

The group, unaware of Polnareff's victory, discuss a way to beat Devo before Polnareff enters the room and falls unconscious.
