Yellow Temperance
With their bodies tired from the recent experience, the group decided to stay a day in Singapore. With Kakyoin's personality quite different, Jotaro immediately became suspicious and punched him, revealing Kakyoin to be an impostor named Rubber Soul, a Stand user who could use his goo-like Stand, Yellow Temperance, to form into any shape or being.
Jotaro began to fight him until Rubber Soul begged for his life and told Jotaro about the killer of Sherry, J. Geil, whose ability involved mirrors. Rubber Soul then tried one final assault on Jotaro, but it failed. He tried to give Jotaro another plea of forgiveness, but Jotaro gave him another barrage of attacks. Jotaro later joined back with the group, including the real Kakyoin, in order to get on a train to their next destination, India. Unbeknownst to Jotaro, Anne, who had developed a crush on Jotaro, was following them closely.

Emperor and Hanged Man
After leaving the group to find J. Geil on his own, Jean Pierre Polnareff is confronted by a Stand user by the name of Hol Horse. Hol Horse's Stand, Emperor, takes the form of a gun; Polnareff is caught off guard when one of the bullets changes trajectory and goes around Silver Chariot's sword. Fortunately, Muhammad Avdol comes from behind and pushes Polnareff out of the way. Hol Horse and Avdol face off, but the latter ends up getting attacked by J. Geil's Stand, Hanged Man and takes a bullet to the head. Infuriated, Noriaki Kakyoin and Polnareff escape from Hol Horse and move to another location where they trick J. Geil and finish him off.

Empress
Accompanied by Hol Horse's former lover, Nena, the Joestar group head to the city of Varanashi. In there, a simple bug wart growing in Joseph Joestar's arm reveals itself to be a Stand named Empress and frames Joseph for murder. Joseph fights the Stand, living as a parasite on his arm, and finally destroys it. The enemy Stand user turns out to be Nena, who was disguised as one of her earlier victims.

Wheel of Fortune
The Joestar group travels by car through the border of India, finding Anne once again on their way. In the road they are in constant conflict with a murderous car and its driver. Their chase takes them to a dead end road, where the driver ZZ reveals his Stand Wheel of Fortune and almost kills them. His arrogance in telling how his stand works proves to be his own downfall when Jotaro Kujo surprises him and knocks ZZ out of his car, which was bound with Wheel of Fortune.
