'Goddess Bastet' Mariah
Near Luxor, Joseph is electrocuted by a strange electric socket, revealed to be Bastet, Mariah's Stand. Metallic objects begin to fly toward Joseph, which he only notices the day after, when the magnetization becomes so dangerous that knives and forks fly toward him. Joseph identifies Mariah as the enemy and he pursues her alongside Avdol. Unfortunately, Advol also touched Bast, and is magnetized too. Momentarily stuck, they are almost crushed by a train and manage to detach themselves. Using Hermit Purple to divine their surroundings, Advol and Joseph manage to surround her, having collected many metallic object along the way. They then rush toward each other and crush Mariah, who is defeated. Meanwhile Jotaro and Polnareff, who had been waiting for Joseph and Avdol, finally think go look for them, and are stalked by Alessi.

'God Sethan' Alessi
Polnareff alone notices Alessi and confronts him. Alessi's Sethan which takes the form of his shadow touches Polnareff. The frenchman is rejuvenated and becomes a child again, his Silver Chariot undergoing the same regression. Polnareff manages to repel Alessi a first time and a young woman, believing Polnareff to be a lost child, takes him with her. When the young woman gives Polnareff a bath, Alessi rejuvenates her into a fetus. Polnareff flees and is cornered into a room with no exit. He engineers a hiding place and successfully ambushes Alessi, who flees and stumbles upon Jotaro. Alessi, knowing that Jotaro didn't have a Stand when he was a child, rejuvenates him, but even the young Jotaro proves too strong for him to handle. Jotaro knocks Alessi out, and when the assassin wakes up, he and Polnareff defeat him for good.

D'Arby the Gambler
On the outskirts of Cairo, Joseph is unsuccessful at having people recognize a photo of DIO's mansion, until one man says that he does recognize it. That man demands that they bet on something and Polnareff complies. However he loses the bet and gets his soul stolen from him. The gambler reveals himself as Daniel J. D'Arby, user of Osiris who can steal the soul of anyone who recognizes defeat in any form. D'Arby then tells the group that the only way to get Polnareff's soul back is to win it. Joseph then challenges D'Arby in a game where they put coins in a near full glass of water and whoever makes the glass spill loses. Joseph tries to cheat but D'Arby is a better cheater and wins Joseph's soul. Jotaro then challenges D'Arby at his best game: Poker.
Jotaro first disables D'Arby's hand because he saw him cheating during the deal, and calls a random child to serve as a dealer. Unbeknownst to Jotaro and Avdol, everyone in their place is on D'Arby's payroll, and D'Arby wins the first hand. During the second hand, Jotaro doesn't look at his cards, which fazes D'Arby a little. Jotaro then repeatedly makes objects appears in his hands and quietly raises the stacks to ridiculous amounts, accepting to bet the souls of everyone. D'Arby suspects that Jotaro has cheated somehow, having a perfect hand and that being the reason why he acts so confident. When Jotaro bets the soul of his mother in exchange for information on DIO's Stand, D'Arby becomes mad from the pressure, believing that he has no way to win. This makes him lose all hope, causing his stand to release the souls of everyone he had trapped before. However he is too unstable to answer any question, defeated. In the end, Jotaro's hand is revelaed to be a terrible one. He admits to have been playing only with the gambler's mind, not even knowing which cards he had on his hand, but having faith that his extreme confidence would make the gambler feel uneasy.

Hol Horse and Boingo
Hol Horse comes back in Cairo after abducting Boingo to use Tohth to his advantage. After verifying Thoth's reliability in its predictions, Hol Horse is ready to follow its instructions. He is still taken aback when the comic book reveals that after he puts his fingers in Polnareff's nose, the whole Joestar group will be taken down. Hol Horse follows the group, while Boingo remains hidden, but he is ambushed by Polnareff. Using a distraction, Hol Horse does put his finger in Polnareff's nose, but it does nothing. However a group of punks try to ride over Hol Horse but run over the Joestar group instead.
Thoth then predicts that Jotaro will come out, but that when Hol Horse shoots into drainages pipes at midday, Emperor's bullets will go through Jotaro's head. Hol Horse bribes some plumbers into opening the pipes and shoots just in time for midday, but Polnareff sneezes on Jotaro's face, which makes him back down and avoid the bullets. Hol Horse then realizes that his wristwatch was ahead. Distracted, Hol Horse realizes too late that his bullets are coming back toward him through the image of Jotaro's head in Thoth, and is defeated. Boingo promises to himself to become braver, but he accidentally angers Iggy, who defeats him.
