They uses the item to try to escape but learn that the person who is help them can't help them any longer as he was back-stabbed by someone he known, and we also learn about the history of the demons, and how did this agreement came about, and that he wants to change it and saves as people as he can...
They also learn about a new farm, and 'Adam' was from that new farm...
'Adam' flashback was been shown, it was back on the day when Norman was been taken away by the demon, instead of dying he was taken to a new farm and was been used to do test and they implanted something within him...
The numbers that 'Adam' keeps repeating happens to be Norman batch no, but Emma of course did not know that...
They then came up with a plan of uprising, and they remember the day that there will be an attack from demons...
They trained themselves and made weapons that they were given by the demons to make even better weapons with it, they planted trap all over the area...
There were some of them who got injury along the process of this uprising...
