Hyuse is left with Yōtarō in charge at Tamakoma Branch by Jin. Yōtarō; however, falls asleep, allowing Hyuse to search for Lampyris. He then wonders if he should have requested immediately after he won the bet with Jin. He prioritizes getting into contact with the vassal nation that was invading since there were plenty of Lampyris in Aftokrator. He thanks Yōtarō and leaves.
Snipers from various teams focus on eliminating Idras sent. They encounter difficulty at first since the Idra are capable of spawning shields. Several Gunners come to aid them, effectively destroying them. However, one of the Galopoula agents releases Dogs nearer to the Snipers, so they are forced to use melee, distracting them. Amō detects that three of them were different from the others. It is revealed that those three are Gatlin and two Galopoula agents, and Gatlin has a Trigger that allows him to pass through the walls of HQ into the building. He states that it would take ten minutes to finish the operation.
Yōtarō wakes up to find Hyuse gone. Gatlin, Wen Sō, and Ratarikov continue their raid on HQ to get to the Expedition Ship, with support from Yomi. Fuyushima sets up blockades throughout the building. Gatlin decides that Wen Sō will deal with any pursuers, but enemies are to be avoided in any case. Meanwhile, Reghindetz and Koskero would lure Border's forces outside. Ratarikov asks what would happen if Hyuse were found. Gatlin said that the orders were to dispose of him if he made any trouble. The three encounter Jin, who uses Fūjin to attack them. However, they manage to block it, leading Jin to suspect that Aftokrator gave them information on Fūjin. Ratarikov uses his Trigger to take the three to another room. Netsuki worries that the Expedition Ship is virtually defenseless since the Trigger allowed them to go through walls at will. Fuyushima points out that if it were that powerful, they would have directly gone rather than use halls, which means that there are limits. Amō states that the Trion Warriors were relatively weak, but the agents were A-Rank level. Gatlin is at Shinoda's level. Shinoda realizes that there are probably agents on the outside directing the Trion Warriors. Outside, Arashiyama asks Yoneya to track down the one releasing Trion Warriors. Inside, Nasu and Kumagai attack the three invaders. As planned, Wen Sō is left to deal with them. Meanwhile, Miwa and Yoneya have tracked down Koskero.
Hyuse hears the sound of battle and realizes that the invaders must have come. He wonders how to approach them.
Miwa and Yoneya fight Koskero and his Aidras. Koskero uses his Trigger to coat Yoneya's Gen'yō Kogetsu with a liquid such that it could not cut. However, Yoneya regenerates his Gen'yō Kogetsu, and Miwa uses Lead Bullet to pin down the Aidras and Yoneya strikes them down. He then cuts off Koskero's leg. Koskero informs Yomi of Lead Bullet's shield-bypassing capability. Yomi asks if he should join. Koskero assures him that it isn't necessary, but he should support Reghindetz since Border was assembling more forces. Reghindetz continues to be shot at by Snipers.
At the same time, Nasu and Kumagai fight Wen Sō. Nasu and Kumagai seemingly have the upper hand, with Nasu being able to destroy the Dogs that Wen Sō has summoned. Wen Sō uses a smokescreen to blind Nasu and Kumagai, but have her Dogs still be able to attack. She then disguises as Kumagai to get near Nasu and cuts her arm off.
As everything is going on, Shinoda points out that their strategy is too offensive; no way of retreat. As Gatlin and Ratarikov head to the Expedition Ship, he states that he gets the feeling that Border was preparing forces. As he said, the top 4 attackers: Kei Tachikawa, Sōya Kazama, Kirie Konami, and Kō Murakami assemble in front of the Expedition Ship. Tachikawa expresses his excitement and confidence in defeating the adversaries. Konami informs him of Jin's prediction that he would be cut down. Tachikawa only feels even more excited.
Jin, watching the battle, wonders where he should go to get things moving along. However, Yōtarō rides towards the battle zone on Raijinmaru, which unsettles Jin.
Yōtarō uses Raijinmaru to track Hyuse's scent. Jin decides that his priority is to save Yōtarō, despite the fact that not assisting the defender of the Expedition Ship could lead to its destruction, which would prevent Tamakoma Second from reuniting with Replica before Yūma's eventual death.
Meanwhile, Ninomiya Unit and Kako Unit shoot down the advancing Idras. Ninomiya then takes command and orders the Attackers and Gunners to encircle them and keep them from advancing, and Snipers to descend and shoot them down. Reghindetz orders Yomi to send more Dogs to encircle them instead.
Inside Border's headquarters, Gatlin and Ratarikov reach the Expedition Ship's hangar, where they are blocked by Tachikawa, Konami, and Murakami. Gatlin prepares to face the three defenders, with Ratarikov summoning Dogs to back him up. Tachikawa informs Gatlin that the Expedition Ship was behind the door, and he would have to defeat the three of them. At that moment, Kazama uses the opportunity to launch a sneak attack with his Chameleon, cutting off Gatlin's left arm. Gatlin then activates his Trigger and replace his lost arm with a gun. The battle begins.
Gatlin shoots at the wall, on the other side of which lies the Expedition Ship. Murakami uses his Shield to take the brunt of the attack, but loses his arm in the process by a Dog. Ratarikov uses his Trigger, while Gatlin attempts to swipe at them while they are preoccupied. However, the attack fails and Konami uses Meteora on Gatlin. Tachikawa attempts to strike down Ratarikov, but Gatlin defends him, having been unharmed by Konami. He tries to pin Tachikawa down, but Konami cuts off his mechanical arm, much to his surprise. Gatlin decides that it would take about 15 minutes to finish the operation. Konami notices that the number of Dogs they were actually using is significantly less than the number that they seem to have, and Tachikawa deduces that it is easier to control them this way. Kazama decides to handle Ratarikov, while the other three attack Gatlin, and the Dogs would be dealt with after.
Meanwhile, Hyuse approaches the battlefield, hoping to get in contact with Galopoula's agents.
Border continues to fend off the advancing Idras. Ninomiya warns that if a single fighter were to go out, the formation would be ruined and the enemy would advance more easily. Being controlled by Yomi, the Idras are suprisingly well co-ordinated, which makes it difficult for Border agents to work together. A certain Idra is causing trouble, so Kuroe decides to fight it since she is suited for speed fights. Kitora decides to assist her. Kuroe uses Idaten to quickly slash the Idra, while Kitora uses Spider to hold it down. However, Amō warns that the battle isn't over yet. A new Idra appears, this one being directly controlled by Yomi. Kuroe uses Itaden to quickly slash it. However, Yomi deduces that Kuroe was attacking with predetermined trajectories, which allow him to predict her movements and then have the Idra sprout a sword in that direction. It works, and Kuroe is heavily wounded, but not defeated. Netsuki and Kinuta panic, but Shinoda assures them that the battle was going in their favour.
Kuroe attempts to use Skanda again, though Kitora advises her not to. Kitora reminds Kuroe that their objective is to pin down the enemy.
Meanwhile, Nasu and Kumagai continue their battle with Wen. Wen is disadvantaged because her Dogs are out of bullets, so she decides to go all out. She creates clones which charge towards Kumagai, though only she attacks as her clones are intangible and simply go through Kumagai. Shiki is unable to detect Wen with Radar, so Nasu orders Kumagai to retreat to the hall so they could fight her in a straight path. However, Wen attacks Kumagai, but with not enough impact to initiate Bail Out. Kumagai realizes her opponent's goal is to have her run out of Trion. She notices that Wen was assembling mirrors on the celing, and alerts Nasu of it. Nasu uses Viper to destroy them, so Wen decides to quickly take out Kumagai, since the mirrors are responsible for the clones. Kumagai realizes that the clones were moving as a reflection of the real one's movements, and deduces the real Wen was on the second on the right. However, Kikuchihara informs her that the real one is the rightmost one. She slashes that one, and it turns out to be the real one. Wen is confused about how she managed to accomplish this. Nasu uses Viper to finish her off once and for all. Kumagai discerns that Wen used her transformation Trigger to switch places with her clone. Koskero is informed of her defeat, and notes that Border's members are indeed strong.
Yoneya attacks Koskero, and Koskero has slime come out of the wall and engulf Yoenya's left hand and foot, rendering them useless. Miwa decides that their best option is to fight without getting hit by the slime. Yoneya uses Senkū to collapse the ceiling above Koskero. Finding the inside of the house to be disadvantageous, Koskero brings the fight outside. Miwa then proceeds to ask him if Galopoula was responsible for the First Large-Scale Invasion, or another country of which he knew. Koskero uses the interval in which the question was asked to launch a sneak attack with slime he left in the house. He refuses to answer Miwa's question. However, he advises him to not engage in a conversation during battle. Miwa points out that the battle is actually over, so he didn't ask "during" the battle. Several slashes then cut through Koskero; revealed to be strikes by Jin's Fūjin. With Koskero down for the count, Miwa and Yoneya prepare to take him to HQ, where they will interrogate him. Jin asks Tsukimi to announce to everyone that the battle would be over in a few minutes.
