Polnareff explains that Jotaro was responsible for searching Asia and America for the arrows, while he searched Europe and Africa. Originally, only Polnareff searching Europe is specified.

Secco's lines about how Bucciarati is like a death row inmate have been moved to before Polnareff is shown.
Secco is shown dodging multiple other vehicles before diving to the sidewalk after his leg is run over.
Secco doesn't attempt to attack the poster of the woman like he does in the manga.
The anime adds a bit of dialogue where Secco seemingly finds Cioccolata's corpse after he falls into the garbage truck, implying that the truck is the same one Cioccolata was launched into after his battle with Giorno. In the manga, there is no indication as to whether the truck Secco falls into is the same one carrying Cioccolata or a different truck entirely.
Episode 144 - Green Day and Oasis, Part 2
The method of how Cioccolata attacks the Pistols was left vague compared to the manga.
Mista's confusion regarding how the Pistols were attacked is removed.
A short scene of Giorno noticing the disappearance of Bucciarati and Secco has been cut.
In the manga, Giorno tries opening the helicopter door only to find that it is stuck. In the anime, he immediately enters through the cockpit.
Cioccolata's wounds from his self-mutilation are almost entirely covered by Green Day's mold as a less obvious form of censorship of the gore.
After he leaps away from Giorno, Cioccolata lands on a storage crate instead of the floor next to it.
When Cioccolata's severed arm punches Giorno, it is shown to be Cioccolata's for the entirety of the scene. In the manga, the arm is shown as Green Day's for a single panel.

After Bucciarati orders Mista to climb the wall Mista only looks towards the wall, while originally he attempts to climb the wall and remarks he sinks into it similarly to the stairs.

Mista's internal thoughts in response to Bucciarati running to the ledge is shortened and his reaction to Bucciarati jumping is removed.

Episode 142 - Get to the Roman Colosseum!
The stranger that contacts Bucciarati's group has an added line stating that the Stand Arrow doesn't just unlock Stand abilities in people, foreshadowing its true nature.
The scene presenting the Arrow and the origin of the Stands is more elaborate, however, the brief exchange between the stranger and Bucciarati regarding where the stranger got the arrow has been removed.
The scene where Diavolo presents Cioccolata and Secco to Doppio is moved to just after the duo's first true appearance, and has also been altered. The scene is narrated by the anime's narrator instead of Diavolo, only the flashback is featured, and Cioccolata's actions are directly shown.
Due to the change in narrators during this scene, Diavolo's comment about his original desire to have Cioccolata and Secco killed is removed.
The scene of the drunkards succumbing to the effects of Green Day is slightly shortened, with the green-shirted drunkard immediately jumping off the staircase (whereas in the manga he panics for much longer before jumping). Furthermore, the short scene of the drunkard attempting to run away after his legs snap off is removed entirely.
Cioccolata and Secco's first true appearance is moved to immediately after Mista's hand is infected.
This exchange is also slightly extended, with Secco confirming that the camera is rolling and Cioccolata expressing satisfaction towards Secco's confirmation.
The scene of Narancia scanning the city and seeing the various corpses of infected civilians is moved slightly further. The civilians are also shown in much less detail, appearing to be already dead instead of being merely on the verge of death.
Green Day's first appearance is moved to when Cioccolata realizes that the group has figured out its ability.
After Mista shoots the boat and the gang is sent onto solid ground, Cioccolata expresses interest in this development instead of frustration.
Episode 141 - Beneath a Sky on the Verge of Falling
Giorno and Mista are now seen going over to where Abbacchio was.
A flower bed is added at the end in place of Abbacchio's body. According to director, Hideya Takahashi, the bed consists of 'Yellow Sultans' which translate to "strong will." This refers to Abbacchio's "will to seek out the truth" (真実に向かおうとする意志), as described by his late partner.

Bucciarati is shown at his father's funeral. His father is named "Paolo Bucciarati" on his tombstone.

Mista no longer apologizes to Trish for this comment.
Episode 126 - Man in the Mirror and Purple Haze
While Abbacchio's body is half human half stand, Illuso grabs him by the stand side in the anime, but in the manga he does so by his human side. This creates a small inconsistency, as Illuso had mentioned previously in the fight that only a stand can grab another stand.
Abbacchio's backstory is simply alluded to in this episode, as it was already adapted in episode 6. Some bits from the end of it are adapted here, however, like Abbacchio's mentality of only following orders, which is explained by him as an inner monologue instead of by the narrator.
A visual of Abbacchio in a dark room being lit by the silhouettes of Bucciarati, Polpo, Pericolo, and the Boss is added to better describe his outlook.
The anime also adds a small piece of dialogue during Fugo's acknowledgement of Giorno in which he compares how he feels about him now to how he felt when he first meet Bucciarati.
The post-credits scene of Risotto Nero finding a corpse on a train station is completely anime original, though it references manga content.
Episode 125 - The Second Mission from the Boss

Fugo's backstory is expanded upon in the episode.
Fugo is shown doing homework as a child, with his parents ominously looming behind him.
Fugo, at one point in his childhood, attempts to stab his father in the back, only to force himself to stop and walk away.
The circumstances behind Fugo attacking his professor are shown. While attempting to check out books at his university's library, he is approached by one of his professors. With seemingly indecent intentions, the professor invites Fugo for dinner "again", causing Fugo to snap and beat him with a textbook.
Fugo is shown getting arrested, with students gossiping about his relationship with the professor as he is escorted away. He appears in court, and although his parents use their wealth to change the verdict and have him found innocent, Fugo is ultimately shunned by his mother and father upon his release.
After being kicked out of his home, Fugo begins living a life as a homeless person on the streets of Naples.
At some point, Fugo attempts to dine-and-dash a restaurant, where he is caught by one of the staff. Bucciarati offers to bring out the best in Fugo, including his violent side.
The restaurant Fugo encounters Bucciarati in is the same restaurant the team is seen hanging out in episode 5 when they are first introduced.
A bit of dialogue in which Illuso tells Fugo that attacking the mirror from outside has no effect is changed so it happens before Giorno and Abbacchio's dispute. This leads to the final scene in which Illuso is about to finish off Fugo to have original dialogue of Fugo once again refusing to tell Illuso why they are in Pompeii and Illuso remarking that it doesn't matter if he doesn't talk because there are still two more people he can interrogate.
Episode 124 - Narancia's Aerosmith
Narancia's flashback is moved to this point of the plot and is more elaborate than in the original manga.
Narancia's mother is shown in the hospital on her deathbed, with Narancia holding her hand as she passes away. Narancia and his father are next seen at her tombstone with Narancia mourning.
Narancia's mother's name, Mela (literally "apple" in Italian), is revealed on her tombstone, along with her date of birth (September 21, 1958) and death (January 16, 1994). This makes her 35 years old at the time of her passing.
Rather than the narration directly claiming that Narancia's father didn't care for him and was neglectful, he is simply shown as being apathetic and distant, and avoiding reciprocating conversation with his son. Their poor relationship is also hinted at when Narancia scowls and calls him a "shithead" under his breath.
The information that Narancia's father was a gardener is omitted.
Narancia is shown committing theft with his friends as well as spending time with them.
At a bakery, Narancia distracts the clerk by asking for directions on a map as two of his friends shovel bread into bags.
Narancia's initial belief that friendship was the most important thing in the world is confirmed by the same blond-haired delinquent that would later scapegoat him.
Rather than being present after Narancia dyed his hair blond, the delinquent is absent. His absence is due to him either leaving to commit the crime that would be framed on Narancia, or simply going into hiding because of it.
The scene of his arrest is more elaborate.
In an interrogation room, the old lady who was beaten by the blond-haired delinquent enters and accuses Narancia of being the culprit. Narancia gets up from his seat trying to convince her, but is pinned to the wall by one of the investigators.
The old lady's original appearance in the manga showed her behind a wooden balustrade, implying that Narancia was taken to a courtroom while in custody.
Narancia's eye infection was received when the investigator headbutts him in the eye, blackening it and allowing the infection to occur.
Narancia, while in juvenile hall, correctly theorizes that he was purposefully tricked into dyeing his hair to become the scapegoat. He quickly denies the thought, believing that his "friend" wouldn't do such a thing.
When Narancia returns from juvenile hall, his "friends" are shown actively shunning him, and the same blond-haired delinquent that framed him is the one that spread the rumors of the eye infection being contagious.
Fugo brings Narancia into the same restaurant the team is seen hanging out in Episode 5 when they are first introduced.
The spaghetti dish is shown to be spaghetti with squid, reflecting Bucciarati's own tastes.
This period between Narancia getting treatment for his eye infection and him deciding to join Passione is illustrated. After returning home and re-attending school, he visits his mother's grave again holding books. Despite his son having been in juvenile hall, Narancia's father remains neglectful.
Formaggio questioning if Aerosmith's bullets would leave bald spots on his head and inserting Narancia into the bottle is omitted.
Formaggio imagining Narancia's insides being dissolved by the spider's venom is represented.
Narancia is also shown directly growing back to normal on screen.
Aerosmith is shown dropping a bomb on the truck that Formaggio was escaping towards. The truck itself is now a panel or step truck instead of a pickup.
The footnote that informs the viewer Formaggio is deceased doesn't appear in the anime, making his death more ambiguous in this version.
The scene in which Narancia reunites with the rest of the group is a bit different.
In the manga, there is no dialogue while Giorno is looking at Trish, whereas in the anime, Fugo can be heard telling Narancia to repeat the story and to take the fact that the enemy found out their location more seriously.
In addition, "ゴゴゴ" sound effects can be seen in the manga as the panels zoom in on Trish, but they don't appear in the anime adaptation, neither does the close-up of Trish's face.
A short scene of Bucciarati weighting the group's options is cut.
Narancia and Fugo's reactions to Giorno's idea are added. Narancia is glad that he defended him, while Fugo shows discontent at what he believes is condescension.
Episode 123 - Hitman Team
Narancia's backstory is omitted from this point in the story.
An original scene of Team Bucciarati waiting for Narancia is added.
As Trish grows impatient for her mineral water, so does Sex Pistols due to not having lunch. Meanwhile, Fugo goes from being frustrated with Narancia running late to genuine worry for him, something Giorno takes notice of.
Formaggio is shown holding the ballpoint pen before he turns backs its normal size to escape from Narancia's grasp.
Added the "Sezione Gestione Sistemi informatici" to the Passione diagram.
The flashback of La Squadra Esecuzioni has been moved from when Formaggio catches a miniscule Narancia to earlier in the battle when he dives underwater in the sewer drain to escape from Aerosmith. It is also expanded upon, revealing the entire team and their personalities, as well as various interactions between them. As a result, their backstory is dramatically altered to accommodate for the presence of every member.
After leaving a restroom stall, Formaggio finishes shrinking a car to a near-microscopic size before dropping it into a target's drink in a restaurant. He then walks to a table nearby to meet up with Melone, Prosciutto, and Pesci. As the target and the woman accompanying him leave the restaurant, Formaggio lets Little Feet return the car to its normal size, exploding the target from the inside, but unintentionally crushing the woman as well.
Before the target's death, Prosciutto is shown reprimanding Pesci for drinking milk, to which he replies in a whiny tone that his stomach turns when he drinks espresso. Prosciutto calls him a "mammone" anyway. Later, upon the target's death, Pesci is left frightened at the gruesome display.
As the woman exits the door, Melone licks his lips watching her legs. He then gives a wide grin, repulsing the others.
When Formaggio and the others return to La Squadra Esecuzioni's base after the job, Illuso, Ghiaccio, and Risotto Nero await them. The group begins to discuss why Sorbet and Gelato haven't returned, and Risotto points out that Sorbet would never miss out on his pay, striking worry in everyone. After some time has passed, the group finds that they are unable to locate their two teammates.
Illuso is introduced belittling Formaggio's Stand ability, then jokingly wondering if Sorbet and Gelato were "getting it on" when he initially hears about their absence.
Illuso's comment is a bit more direct than the manga's "rumors of a relationship", as well as Gelato's hand being under Sorbet's shirt in the anime, seem to indicate that in this version their relationship is more official.
Ghiaccio asks Melone how much money they were getting paid for the job, being immediately infuriated upon hearing an answer of a 'cheap' 20 million lire. While the others search for Sorbet and Gelato, Ghiaccio frustratingly complains about how little money La Squadra Esecuzioni makes compared to Polpo alone (who controls Naples' gambling) and especially the team in charge of drug-dealing. He openly claims that Squadra Esecuzioni is the best team in Passione to rationalize their mistreatment.
Risotto, as the leader of the group, keeps Formaggio and Illuso in line as well as calming Ghiaccio's anger.
In the manga, Gelato was found dead in his house, with his corpse laying on his sofa. However, in the anime, his corpse is found in the place where his friend, Sorbet was cut to pieces.
Formaggio is the one who comes across Gelato's corpse.
The note left on Gelato's corpse now reads "punizione" and handwritten rather than "castigo" printed.
A scene of Sorbet being hacked to pieces is added. A silhouetted figure is shown dismembering the body, while another watches.
The lines describing Sorbet dying in the middle of being chopped alive were omitted. He now can be heard screaming and struggling as it happens.
The address the 36 formalin frames were delivered to is listed as "Vico Pallonetto Santa Chiara, 8, 80134 Napoli NA". This corresponds to a real-world back alley in the slums of Naples.
Pesci recognizes the nail polish on Sorbet's fingers before the team assembles the formalin frames. He also shies away in fear when the assembly is near-completion.
La Squadra Esecuzioni attends Sorbet and Gelato's funeral, where Risotto tells them to forget about Sorbet and Gelato; all of them leave with the exception of Risotto at the end.
Instead of spilling blood, the damage to Aerosmith's wing done by Little Feet causes it to catch fire, making the Stand more faithful to a real plane.
Episode 122 - The First Mission from the Boss
Giorno, Bucciarati, and Abbacchio enter the restroom stalls after Mista's bullet wound is stapled shut.
Zucchero and Sale are shown bound by chains in the boat's cabin. Zucchero appears disoriented from his torture, while Sale appears either upset or still unconscious.
When Trish reverses Narancia's knife back onto him, he pulls out a second one with his free hand and almost stabs her when Bucciarati intervenes.
Pericolo recognizes Giorno as the new member, and greets him as family to Passione.
When it celebrates for Bucciarati to have become a capo, Narancia is shown behind Bucciarati, between Mista and Fugo. In the manga, he is in front of Abbacchio.
When Pericolo explains Trish's situation to Bucciarati, he looks over the railings towards the view of Capri.
Trish is shown taking off her janitor disguise in the bathroom stalls while Pericolo speaks.
Giorno is the one that inquires if the traitors were Stand Users rather than Bucciarati.
Trish's first outfit has been skipped; she now dons the outfit she would have begun wearing from Chapter 486
Trish's physical appearance is altered slightly, sporting green eyes and a much wider intermammary gap.
In the manga, when Trish asks Fugo to take his shirt off, it's Narancia who takes Fugo shirt off. In the anime, Fugo takes off the shirt by himself.
Fugo throws his jacket to the floor in a fit of anger when Trish walks away after using it to dry her hands.
The episode expands on the online discussion between all the La Squadra Esecuzioni members.
The messages are actually typed in Italian.
The members' actual names are given as their chat handles.
A "Ghiaccio" is the one that gives the news of Polpo's death to the rest.
Others reply by telling Formaggio "Cercatelo" ("Find them"), including a "Prosciutto" and "Illuso".
Glimpses of the rest of the members can be seen.
Prosciutto and Pesci are seen sitting across from each other at a table.
Illuso is seen sitting in a chair at an airport.
Ghiaccio is on a computer in a room, with Melone standing next to him and Risotto Nero in a chair behind them.
When Formaggio gets up from his seat, he is now shown bringing his cat over to the bottle.
Narancia plays his favorite song on the car's radio when he drives to his next stop; the same song he plays on his boombox as well as the one him, Mista, and Fugo dance to as Zucchero was being tortured.
When Narancia looks under the car in response to Formaggio's voice, instead of Formaggio's feet being seen as he enters the car, Narancia claims that the source of the voice actually came from under the vehicle.
Formaggio is more humorous, chuckling more during his short conversation with Narancia.
Narancia's internal monologue occurs simultaneously to Formaggio's explanation that Team Bucciarati had disappeared.
When Formaggio has Little Feet slash Narancia's face in a surprise attack, he tricks Narancia into looking the other way by pretending to refer to someone behind him, rather than simply slashing his face when threatened.
Instead of realizing that all of Team Bucciarati's members are Stand Users before Aerosmith attacks him, Formaggio simply calls Little Feet, revealing its name earlier.
Narancia's line about completing his mission has been moved from the moment Aerosmith begins attacking to the end of the episode when he looks for the shrunken Formaggio.
Formaggio actually ducks and covers his head behind the passenger seat while Aerosmith shoots at him.
Instead of verbalizing his need to use his ability to escape Aerosmith's bomb, Formaggio is simply shown attempting to open the car door and leave when the explosion goes off. He is not shown shrinking before the explosion.
Narancia punches the car when his shoe slips off and he hurts his foot kicking it.
The roof of the car is not shown when Narancia looks for Formaggio, keeping his ability a secret until he decides to jump down into Narancia's pocket.
The brand of stockings Narancia bought for Trish is "Calza" (lit. "Stocking" in Italian) and not "Good Up". Also, the brand of the blush is labeled as "Givenchy", the brand Trish asked for.
Episode 121 - Sex Pistols Appears, Part 2
The first half of Mista's flashback is moved from the White Album story arc to this point of the story, before the battle with Sale resumes as normal. The rest of the flashback would be shown in Episode 19. Mista's past is altered and expanded upon, including new shots to further illustrate his daily life.
Mista is shown staring out a window, indicative of his hobby of gazing at the sky and trees.
Mista is shown sitting at a kitchen table eating cheese and drinking wine, foods he enjoyed regularly.
Mista is shown raising a fist against a stranger in an alley behind a cinema, showing how he frequently obtained his money.
The narration no longer specifies Clint Eastwood when describing how Mista would choose to mug individuals that insulted his favorite actors.
Mista is shown beaten and lying unconscious over garbage bags after a failed attempt at mugging a group of four men.
Before his fateful encounter with the three men that he would kill, Mista briefly passes by two women that recognize him in front of his familiar cinema. They kindly reject his advances.
Mista is shown violently wresting the first thug's gun and ammo from him.
The woman that was being attacked exits the car from the right side door rather than the left side away from Mista.
Transitioning from the backstory back into the present, the narrator adds that in a helpless situation, Mista made a decision to "cut through the shadows". This statement would later be echoed during Mista's battle with Ghiaccio.
When Sale first summons Kraft Work, the Stand manifests in front of Sale instead of behind him.
When Sale tells Mista that his gun's is out of bullets, various brief flashbacks are shown to illustrate when Mista had fired six shots.
Giorno investigating Mista's and the enemy's whereabouts is moved to before Mista realizes he has four bullets left. It was originally shown after Sale 'shoots' Mista with his own bullet and begins readying another to finish him off.
When the final bullet against Sale splits in half, the cut appears cleaner.
The x-ray showing the first bullet in Sale's head being pushed deeper by the bullet piece has a lighter inner layer, likely his brain, being affected by the two's movement.
Mista scolds No.3 for punching No.5 after they win the battle.
The truck is last shown driving away with Giorno in it as the episode ends.
Episode 120 - Sex Pistols Appears, Part 1
The narration describing the history of Capri is moved to the start of the episode from when Mista approaches Zucchero's head.
The scene with Narancia, Mista, and Fugo's synchronized dancing while Zucchero's head hangs by the fishing hook is portrayed much more elaborately. Overall, the scene is composed not unlike a music video.
The dance choreography itself is more complex, composed of many more moves than the original five in the manga.
The music the three dance to is the same song Narancia was listening on his own stereo before Mista broke it.
The light being magnified into Zucchero's eye creates a prismatic rainbow effect, upon which is used to stylize the visuals of the dance and Zucchero's torture throughout the scene.
Over the course of the dance, Zucchero's head itself is animated in a unique, psychedelic/surreal style. The camera slowly closes in on him with each cut to his head, possibly hinting towards his suffering. Each animation displays an effect relating to each of the dancer's stands.
The first image shows many circles showing up on the screen, representing Aerosmith's bullets.
The second image has a background that resembles zooming crosshairs, likely referencing Sex Pistols.
The third image shows a skull corroding, which is likely a nod to Purple Haze and its virus.
Abbacchio yells at Narancia, Mista, and Fugo to stop messing around when he calls their attention to Moody Blues' replay.
In the manga, Moody Blues in the form of Zucchero is shown speaking a few lines into the radio before Abbacchio strikes Zucchero's head and tells Giorno to turn away. In the anime, Abbachio striking Zucchero and talking to Giorno is moved to before Moody Blues starts replaying.
Moody Blues is seen reverting to its original form after the replay of Zucchero and Sale's transmission concludes.
Mista picks up Zucchero's head by his hair when proposing to further torture him for information.
After Abbacchio asks Bucciarati for guidance on their next move, Bucciarati has an interior monologue about how to catch Zucchero's partner before being interrupted by Giorno.
When Mista decides to go with Giorno to Capri, he stands up and strikes the same pose he is shown doing on the cover of Volume 50.
As Giorno takes the radio transmitter, he is shown inaudibly speaking into it, hinting to the later scene when Sale responds to a distress call seemingly coming from Zucchero.
Episode 119 - Moody Blues' Counterattack
Abbacchio's flashback is moved from the Man in the Mirror and Purple Haze story arc to this point in the story and is altered and expanded upon.
New scenes showing Abbacchio's daily life on the force are shown.
Abbacchio's police car has rocks thrown at it by random thugs, cracking its windshield. As he's running after them, he turns around to see a middle-aged lady's purse getting stolen; he had been led away on purpose. Abbacchio tries and fails to stop the purse-snatcher, earning the frustration and criticism of the woman's husband.
Newspaper articles about a burglar named Isacco are shown.
When Abbacchio and his partner investigate the shop during the break-in, it is now nighttime and the lights inside are off; the two carry flashlights in their free hands to light up the shop.
During their search, a man, presumably the store owner, is found dead with a bullet wound in his head.
Abbacchio's partner is not shown actually getting shot, with only the two guns being fired followed by a flash of light during the moment. His body is now lying face-down in a pool of blood rather than slumped against a door frame.
The crook repeatedly whines about how he's "gonna die" from his gunshot injury.
Abbacchio screams out when he looks down and realizes his partner had died saving him.
Abbacchio's first meeting with Bucciarati is shown.
On another rainy night, an out-of-uniform Abbacchio stumbles into the now-abandoned shop, holding a bottle of whiskey. Drunk, disheveled, and somehow injured slightly, he reminisces about the moment he failed as a member of the police force. As he's leaving, Bucciarati is watching him in the alley, holding an umbrella.
The alcohol bottle he has during their meeting, "Cronenberg Irish Whiskey," is the same brand Dio Brando was shown drinking in episode 2.
In an after-credits scene that shows the rest of their encounter, Bucciarati tells Abbacchio to join his team, and that results themselves do not matter but how they are achieved; a sentiment that Abbacchio's partner shares and would later reveal to him during their next meeting. After a moment's hesitation, Abbacchio silently puts down his bottle, confirming his decision to join Passione.
Black-tailed gulls are frequently shown throughout the episode, hinting at their later relevance during Bucciarati and Zucchero's confrontation at the end.
When Abbacchio is stabbed and abducted, Soft Machine comes out of a square hole in the floor to take him instead of through one of Bucciarati's zippers.
Abbacchio slaps blood from his injured knuckles onto Bucciarati's face before he's taken. When Bucciarati stares into the hole he was seemingly abducted into, a drop of blood falling into the floor below hints him towards the truth of Zucchero's attack; Abbacchio's own trail of blood stops between the inner and "outer" square of the hole, as if he was pulled between the cracks of the two and not below deck.
When Sticky Fingers punches the floor 'in search of Abbacchio', it does so for an extended amount of time and creates a large number of zippers. Bucciarati also screams angrily to make it appear as if he's in a frantic rage.
The camera work when Zucchero begins making demands to Bucciarati frames the scene to make it seem as if Zucchero was talking through the fly, rather than as a disembodied voice with no clear source.
When Bucciarati begins speaking to Zucchero during the hostage situation, the camera frequently flashes to an image of a broken structure underwater, nodding to Bucciarati having already punched a hole in the boat.
Bucciarati and Zucchero's stand-off lasts much longer, creating suspense. They only make their moves the instant a droplet of water falls from Zucchero's face.
When Bucciarati attacks Zucchero, he is shown unzipping his arm and throwing it, not unlike how Giorno did against him during their fight.
Abbacchio is seen reinflating and regaining consciousness, with Bucciarati tending to him. The episode ends on Abbacchio warmly acknowledging Bucciarati's success.
Episode 118 - Find Polpo's Fortune!
When Bucciarati explains Passione's hierarchy, the diagram is much more detailed and includes silhouettes of Passione teams and members, but does not mention how many members there are. Bucciarati also leaves out that one of the capos is 18.
Several silhouettes of key oncoming characters can be seen in the Passione's hierarchy scene.
The Boss' Unita Speciale is added.
The silhouettes of a "Squadra Guardie del corpo", the bodyguard team, correspond to Team Bucciarati.
Gave Italian names to the other sections of the gang mentioned in the manga: Sezione Droghe, Squadra Esecuzioni, Sezione Gestione sistemi informatici for respectively the drug, assassination and info management teams.
Added a "Sezione Gestione Giochi d'azzardo", the gambling team, which was not on the manga's diagram.
Removed some of the hierarchy connections showing that one capo is in charge of only the drug section, one capo is in charge of both the assassination and bodyguard teams and another one is in charge of only the info management team.
Bucciarati's line about him and Giorno "needing power" to get close to The Boss is changed to them "needing a team they can trust" to acquire said power.
The anime adds several scenes of various gangsters, presumably all Passione members, learning about Polpo's death.
The discussion between Sale and Mario Zucchero about Polpo's treasure is moved before Giorno meets the gang.
Sale's appearance is much more defined, not being hidden by shadows like the original manga. Only his face is obscured.
The anime precises that it happens in Rome, building on the Roman origins of Zucchero.
Sale is serious instead of humored when he realizes that Zucchero is going to take Bucciarati's team of six head-on.
The gang meeting scene is modified and appended:
Team Bucciarati is now sitting in an isolated corner of an occupied restaurant instead of the middle of an empty room.
Since the front door is no longer positioned opposite of the team's table, Bucciarati enters into the scene leaning against an entrance archway from the restaurant's main room.
Bucciarati cites the other customers' being bothered when he yells at gang to silence them.
Abbacchio wears headphones throughout the scene, taking them off when he offers Giorno his "tea".
A silhouette of a kid getting his eye clawed at by a cat is shown when Mista describes how he came to fear the number 4.
Abbacchio is seen taking a slice of shortcake while Mista rants about the four slices.
Fugo's interactions with Mista during his rant implies that he's heard his fear of the number four before rather than this being the first time he's heard it like in the manga.
Narancia bleeds less when he is stabbed with the fork by Fugo.
While Mista asks Abbacchio if he's going to eat his slice, Fugo can be heard slamming Narancia's face into the table a few more times; the table is also shown shaking each time he does it.
Bucciarati is moved by a phone call away from Giorno during the meeting and learns about Polpo's death through the call. This is also when he's approached by Ms. Menini and her friend.
When Bucciarati leaves, Abbacchio can be seen grabbing the teapot and positioning it by his crotch.
Because he leaves, Bucciarati does not ask Abbacchio for a cup of tea.
Bucciarati's team immediately moves to retrieve Polpo's treasure after the meeting.
The members of Bucciarati's team do not have each of their full names and ages formally given when Giorno introduces himself.
Bucciarati having a normal day (eating pizza and walking around town) is omitted.
His conversation with Ms. Menini and her friend, whose son is beating her and doing drugs, is moved to a flashback.
Him being greeted warmly by the many pedestrians around him happens when he and his gang leave the restaurant to go after Polpo's fortune.
As the gang leaves the restaurant, Mista wonders aloud what kind of transportation they'll take. When Abbacchio tells him they have a loaner, Fugo mentions that Mista destroyed their previous car.
Giorno internally notices that Bucciarati indeed has the trust of a number of citizens during this conversation.
A scene featuring Bucciarati directly renting a yacht is added. Zucchero's trick is foreshadowed by the discrepancy between the boat number and its key number.
Narancia also purchases snacks from the rental shop, including a can of "Sparite" that Mista would later pour onto his stereo.
The magazine that Mista reads has a different cover and is titled "Transcendi".
When Bucciarati announces how the treasure will allow the gang to move up the ranks, all its member are shown internally expressing excitement at the prospect of doing so.
The money amounts are converted into lires instead of yens: 400 M¥ and 600 M¥ become respectively 5 G₤ and 10 G₤.
The attack on the gang on the boat is modified:
The search scene is lengthened overall.
Narancia isn't shown directly collapsing away from view.
Episode 117 - Joining the Gang
When Gold Experience knocks Black Sabbath away, it disappears behind a splash of water upon knocking over the janitor's pail; in the manga, the pail was empty.
Giorno's sudden explanation that Gold Experience's life energy also affects Giorno himself and his own movement speed when used offensively is omitted. Gold Experience's struggle against Black Sabbath's grip remains a result of the enemy Stand's surprise attack and superior strength despite its slowed movements.
When Gold Experience intercepts the Arrow to save Koichi, it uses its right hand instead of its left. The Stand also attempts to close its hand to grab the Arrow.
Because of this, when Giorno tells Koichi about his regret of letting the old janitor be killed, the hand he holds the lighter in and the hand he's bleeding from are switched.
Koichi asking Giorno if he knew about the Arrow is removed.
While Koichi is explaining how he received Echoes, Giorno internally realizes that a "chosen one" is a person whose awakened their Stand.
Koichi no longer narrates the scene leading up to Giorno's leg being grabbed by Black Sabbath. Because of this, it is Giorno whom uses the imagery of a scooter as an example of a method for defeating Black Sabbath. The strategy is also revealed earlier, while Giorno and Koichi try to flee from the area.
After pinning Giorno down, Black Sabbath briefly dodges Gold Experience's kicks before grabbing its other leg.
When Echoes uses 3 Freeze on Black Sabbath, its profanity ("MUTHAPHUKKIN" and "BEEYATCH!") is omitted.
Black Sabbath continues attempting to stab Gold Experience with the Arrow while under the effects of 3 Freeze.
The tree whose life Gold Experience accelerates to the point of expiration has more branches and leaves at the peak of its life.
The scene where Polpo officially makes Giorno a member of Passione is moved to before Koichi's explanation of Giorno being a Joestar. As a result, Giorno tending to the deceased janitor is shown as a flashback.
Polpo is shown flicking the badge of Passione onto the platform for Giorno to take.
When Giorno extends his arm past the badge towards the minifridge in Polpo's cell, he summons Gold Experience's arm.
Giorno is shown receiving another body check on his way out of the prison.
A new scene with Koichi explaining the situation to Jotaro over a payphone is added. Koichi's last appearance is him running off to go sightseeing. This is the same scene with the flashback showing Koichi realizing Giorno's Joestar lineage.
Giorno and Bucciarati are seen walking together to the restaurant where the rest of Bucciarati's team is the next day.
Polpo's death is moved to the middle of Giorno and Bucciarati's trip. Giorno is seen turning around with a look of disgust on his face as he internally tells Polpo to "enjoy [his] last meal".
The narration detailing Polpo's death being ruled by suicide is omitted.
Bucciarati reveals to Giorno that his team is composed entirely of Stand Users as the episode ends.
Episode 116 - Meet the Gangster Behind the Wall
Instead of meeting up in front of the prison holding Polpo, Giorno and Bucciarati are seen walking together through various streets until they reach the prison.
When Giorno comes up with ways to show Polpo that's he's talented, he is shown stuffing his ear back into his head. The ear that he stuffs is also his left ear, not his right like in the manga.
Polpo's paintings of Vincent van Gogh's The Church at Auvers, and Paul Gauguin's Vairumati are replaced. His line referencing them is also omitted.
When Polpo likens intelligence or talent to the piece of cracker stuck between his teeth, he flicks said piece at the window.
The prison guards actually point their guns at Giorno when the female guard orders him to partake in a second body check.
The sports team asking Giorno to take the picture of them in pyramid formation can be heard collapsing as he walks away.
Giorno no longer sits down in relief once he's gotten the lighter to his desk.
Koichi is distracted by his passport burning after he celebrates finding it.
The time of day suddenly changes to late afternoon the instant the janitor relights the lighter, setting the stage for Giorno's battle against Black Sabbath.
Black Sabbath first disappearing out of sight happens with the camera passing behind Giorno's head, rather than the Stand walking by a column.
In the manga, when Black Sabbath grabs the janitor's soul, the janitor exclaims that he cannot move and asks for help. In the anime, he stays quiet the entire time.
Black Sabbath speaks to Giorno after the latter steps into a nearby shadow, rather than just noticing he's there.
Episode 115 - Bucciarati Is Coming
Extended Giorno's flashback with additional scenes, some of which were only narrated in the manga.
At a bar, a friend of Haruno's mother asks if she should really be leaving her kid home alone since he's only two years old.
Young Giorno's stepfather pretends to be friendly with him when he's in public. After the man's wedding with Haruno's mother, he pats Giorno's head while smiling and tells him to come take photos with them. While his cruelty towards Giorno is the same as in the manga, an extra scene showing reasonable treatment from his stepfather is added, downplaying his cruelty to potentially tolerable and justifiable levels.
Young Giorno is pushed face-first into a rain puddle by a group of three older boys.
Extra scenes of the gangster watching over young Giorno, such as an ice cream shop giving him extra scoops for free.
Giorno hears a gunshot and goes to see what happened. He discovers that the gangster he admired just killed a man in an alley along with his partner. A kid runs up and points a gun at the man, threatening to get revenge because the gangster just killed his father. The man explains that the boy's father "was scum" and broke the rules of his turf by selling drugs to even women and children. Unable to bring himself to pull the trigger, the kid breaks down crying and also calls the gangster scum in return before the gangster walks away. The narration then describes that Giorno thought the gangster wasn't scum in the least, transitioning into the manga's original lines afterward.
It is implied in the visuals that Giorno's hero may have not necessarily employed coercion towards all of Giorno's oppressors into treating him well, excluding his stepfather.
In the scene where the gangster approaches young Giorno and thanks him, it is raining and the two are holding umbrellas, as opposed to the encounter happening on a sunny day. They also face each other when they stop.
After his consciousness is separated by Gold Experience, Bucciarati attempts to run back to his body when he sees Gold Experience's punch about to make contact.
The bystander threatening to call the police before Giorno calms him has a different appearance.
A physical fistfight between Gold Experience and Sticky Fingers has been added, Sticky Fingers effortlessly blocking Gold Experience's attacks and thus demonstrating its strength advantage.
Giorno's chase after Bucciarati is extended, with the two running through various alleys.
After Gold Experience strikes Bucciarati's replacement arm, Bucciarati no longer retaliates by simply punching Giorno after giving a sly smile, but Gold Experience leaps at Bucciarati to strike him before Bucciarati punches the Stand and forces it out of the way. He then runs up to punch Giorno.
Bucciarati attempts to finish Giorno off in response to Giorno trying to tear his own arm, rather than Giorno tearing his arm in single motion once Bucciarati got close enough.
Bucciarati's consciousness is seen separated from his body again when Gold Experience strikes him at the end of the fight.
Bucciarati's consciousness no longer visibly screams aloud with his eyes wide open when he believes Giorno is about to finish him off.
The boy who Bucciarati hides in is named in the anime as Antonio Rossi since his student ID is visible.
When Bucciarati shows that his arm is not his arm, his lacy vest undergarment does not fall off, making it seem as if it was a tattoo.
Giorno's lines about Bucciarati's belief in personal freedom and the freedom to use drugs are omitted.
Giorno walks away while Bucciarati is talking to him to overlook Naples, comments on its view, then resumes the conversation.
Giorno takes a seat on a railing with one leg over the other when revealing to Bucciarati his dream to become a Gang-Star.
Season 4
Part 5 - Golden Wind
Episode 114 - Gold Experience
Koichi's narration about the year being 2001 and how humans already traveled all the way to Jupiter in the 2001: A Space Odyssey film he saw is omitted. Instead, the episode begins with Giorno.
Expository scenes of the crime wave plaguing Naples such as frequent thefts, corrupt policemen, or drug deals are added.
Giorno is introduced before his arrival at the airport with him taking a stroll through town, focusing on his interactions with other citizens, notably one of him pickpocketing back a purse for a tourist is added, after it was snatched by a thief who bumped into them. At the same time, Gold Experience's ability is first alluded to earlier, as he secretly steals money from the aforementioned woman's purse by turning the bills into butterflies and having them fly back to him.
Luca gets an introductory scene showing him beating up a petty illegal taxi driver while learning about Giorno, showing how he will later confront him.
Flashbacks to Koichi being stabbed by the Arrow, the Arrow itself and DIO's battle against Jotaro were added.
Extra scenes of Giorno entering Naples' funicular, followed by Bruno Bucciarati, are added while Koichi phones Jotaro.
All of Koichi's narration is removed, such as him detailing the mission Jotaro gave him at the start as well as how he felt seeing Giorno's serene expression when Giorno "failed" to steal his luggage.
The photo of DIO that Giorno keeps in his wallet is now the same image taken by Joseph Joestar during Stardust Crusaders, with the "Dio Brando" writing omitted.
Koichi using Echoes ACT1 to find Giorno is omitted. He calls out to the security guards nearby instead.
The scene where Koichi and Jotaro meet regarding Haruno Shiobana is moved to an outside cafe in Morioh.
Five girls crowded around Giorno to hang out with him at the cafe in the manga, but only three in the anime.
Echoes ACT3's 'S-H-I-T' and "BIIITCH' dialogue was removed after Giorno disappeared.
Jotaro's office was expanded upon, with many books, an aquarium, marine biology supplies, and displays of aquatic animals. He also has other pictures of Giorno when he was younger as Haruno Shiobana, as well as photos of DIO, Giorno's mother, and Giorno's stepfather.
The funicular Giorno encounters Bucciarati in is updated slightly for the time period.
Giorno's backstory as a child and dream of becoming a "gang-star" is omitted from its previous place in the narration.
Giorno is shown openly summoning Gold Experience against Bucciarati instead of summoning it to take the latter by surprise. (The next episode changes this tacked on scene to make it more of a surprise attack like the manga.)
Thus Spoke Kishibe Roban - Episode 2: Mutsukabezaka
A portion of Rohan and Kaigamori's conversation is omitted, mostly in regards to Nicolas de Staël.
Some background information regarding Naoko's family and living situation is omitted.

Scenes are added briefly showing Shuichi and Naoko married, and Naoko disposing blood into the sink.
A real estate agent named Batsudera is added to the OVA. He pesters Rohan to sell the mountains and almost stumbles across Naoko's daughter's body.
An extra scene is added showing Koichi, Okuyasu, Josuke and Mikitaka all at the table listening in on Rohan's story. Kaigamori asks them to leave, but Rohan stops him to ask if Mikitaka is actually an alien.
Naoko conversing with her daughter is omitted. A voiceover is still present, but not the son's line about wanting to be a gardener.
Thus Spoke Kishibe Roban - Episode 5: Millionaire Village
Akira Otoishi can be seen walking in the background during Rohan and Izumi's conversation at the cafe.
In the one-shot, Izumi mentions she found the village on Google Maps. While this statement is omitted in the OVA, the interface on the tablet closely resembles the app.
When Rohan answers Izumi's question about removing his coat before entering, he places his hand on the entrance. He simply points at it in the OVA.
In the OVA, Izumi hands the box with the baby bird inside to Rohan before the two remove their coats. This is not seen in the one-shot.
In the one-shot, introductions between Ikkyu and the protagonists happen inside the property just before entering the waiting room. In the OVA, the whole interaction occurs outside the main gate. The inside of the property is also expanded upon and slightly altered.
Before grabbing the corn, the OVA includes Rohan striking a pose similar to the one he uses on the cover of Rohan at the Louvre.
An extra scene is added of Rohan using Heaven's door to place the bird back in its nest.
An epilogue is added consisting of Rohan explaining the aftermath to Koichi, Okuyasu and a non-speaking Josuke.

Tonio salutes Yuya while looking directly at the screen and expresses looking forward to their next visit.

Added Kira combing his hair back after getting pierced by the arrow which gave him the new hairstyle.
Added a commercial of Morioh's very own Miso-stewed cow tongue before showing the news on Hayato's TV.

Removed the montage of characters/scenes that Rohan thinks about (Jotaro, Koichi, Josuke, Joseph, Reimi, Aya, and Shigechi) when he finally discovers that Kira became Hayato's father.
Episode 108 - July 15th (Thurs), Part 4
Showed the My Dad Is Not My Dad arc at the same time as the Cheap Trick arc. The manga only showed Cheap Trick after My Dad Is Not My Dad and mentioned afterward in the next arc that they were occurring around the same time.
Changed Koichi saying he'll come back later because he has to go to cram school while leaving Rohan's house. Instead, he provides Rohan with info that the old man in the photo made Stand users to go after them. Koichi rushed over there in case Rohan got attacked too.
Removed the scene with Rohan taping band-aids over his ears to block Cheap Trick's chatter. He taunts Cheap Trick for being so weak that it can't even rip the band-aids off his ears.
Removed Rohan falling asleep and Cheap Trick taking advantage of the situation by calling multiple people using the phone on Rohan's desk. Five people barge the front door open behind Rohan while he's asleep, including a pizza delivery man, a sushi delivery man, someone delivering Wanwanken Chinese noodles, a rice wholesaler delivering a Koshihikari order, and a firefighter. They ask if Rohan is home and Cheap Trick impersonates him by telling them to enter the room. Rohan luckily wakes up and turns around before they see his back. He pays them all and shoos them out of the house before deciding to go to Morioh Grand Hotel.
In the manga, Minako tells Satoru about how Mika got expensive earrings before they leave the bus, and then hints that her birthday is coming up real soon. Satoru says he'll think about it, and then when they get to the apartment, Minako brings up the earrings again. The anime removed the first scene and changed the second scene to have Minako mention the earrings for the first time.
Changed Hayato's clothes to give him the vest he usually wears (it was only the long-sleeve shirt in the manga).
Added a scene of Jotaro passing by Hayato while he's running away from Kira. Jotaro investigates Satoru's apartment due to him and Minako being on the report of runaways and missing people. Jotaro finds a stain of blood on the floor and suspects Kira.
Episode 107 - July 15th (Thurs), Part 3
Changed the flow of the fights to be more dynamic by having the start of the Cheap Trick story arc occur at the same time as the fight against Enigma. In the manga, the Cheap Trick arc was only shown linearly after the Enigma Boy arc.
Added a scene of Jotaro with Joseph and Shizuka at the Morioh Grand Hotel, receiving a report of all the missing people from Morioh. Listed on the report are Minako Okura and her boyfriend Satoru Nakae, who appear in the My Dad Is Not My Dad arc.
Removed the taxi driver being confused about where he is after coming out of the paper.
Added a scene of Yoshihiro being glad that Josuke and Koichi were dealt with, and flying over to Rohan.
Removed Highway Star popping through Terunosuke's taxi door and grabbing Josuke's paper. The anime had Highway Star on top of the taxi instead.
Removed Terunosuke telling Yuya that he would be going against Kira's dad, with Highway Star replying to quit stalling with small talk. Terunosuke explains that anyone can open the paper for something inside of it to come out, making Highway Star look at the paper with Josuke trapped in it. Terunosuke immediately slams the door on Highway Star before asking the driver to go faster, and Highway Star splits apart into multiple feet. The anime skips to the scene afterwards, with Yuya counting how many kilometers the car is traveling.
Changed how Yuya rescued Josuke and Koichi. When he became paper in the manga, he was somehow attached to Josuke and Koichi's papers which allowed him to open them. In the anime, turning him into paper allowed Highway Star to split itself up into multiple sheets, being thin enough to grab Josuke and Koichi's papers out of the shredder.
Removed Echoes saying "Let's Kill Da Ho!"
Didn't show the names and addresses in Rohan's phone book (Jotaro, Joseph, Tonio, Okuyasu, Josuke).
Added another scene with Jotaro and Joseph. Jotaro tells Joseph that he's going out for a bit to check out the surroundings of the missing people listed in the report.

Episode 106 - July 15th (Thurs), Part 2
Changed the flow of the fights to be more dynamic by showing the Cheap Trick story arc in between the fight against Super Fly, although Cheap Trick was said to take place an hour after. In the manga, the Cheap Trick arc was only shown linearly after the Enigma Boy arc.
Removed Rohan asking Kinoto to show him his business card or ID before using Heaven's Door on him.
Removed Rohan asking if something is up with Kinoto's back with the architect replying that he just likes having something solid behind him. Also removed Rohan's monologue that Kinoto's fear reminds him of Duke Togo from Golgo 13 with the quote "Do not stand behind him if you value your life". Rohan wonders if the architect was hiding his back the whole time on the way to his house but doesn't really care about his habits if he's not an enemy.
Removed Okuyasu commenting that Super Fly has got to be the #1 defensive Stand, and that it's like a pyramid in Egypt that will still be standing in the same location after thousands of years.
Removed the majority of Chapter 403, which was how the fight with Super Fly ended. In the manga after Josuke manages to reflect the rebounding energy back at Kanedaichi, Josuke's hand slips on a puddle of Kanedaichi's blood and thinks he left his blood there on purpose as revenge. After getting angry at Kanedaichi, he falls off the tower leaving Okuyasu and Mikitaka in fear. Kanedaichi quickly tells him to punch the tower. Crazy Diamond punches it causing Super Fly to reflect the punch back at Josuke, sending him back up to a beam of the tower.
Removed Kanedaichi offering to heal Josuke with his herbs, but Josuke refuses because the tower sprayed toilet waste all over the herbs earlier as fertilizer.
Removed Kanedaichi offering to cook for them but Josuke says he doesn't have to because he's not really hungry, while Mikitaka also has the thought that his vegetables are all covered in poop. Also removed Kanedaichi saying that he feels bad letting them go without helping, so he offers to catch birds for them before Josuke asks if the old man in the photograph told him anything.

Added a scene of Okuyasu alone in the streets shouting for Koichi and that he'll find him no matter what.
Removed Josuke giving Koichi's schoolbag to Yuya in his hospital room so that he can track Koichi's scent. Instead, he takes Yuya to where they found Koichi's bag on the ground and Yuya tracks him from there.
Changed the chocolate brand that Akemi gives to Yuya from a generic "choco" logo into "Cit Cat".
Removed Rohan dropping his pen and Kinoto bending backwards to grab it for him. Changed Kinoto awkwardly smiling to be in the scene of Rohan giving him tea instead of after picking up Rohan's pen.
Removed Rohan thinking that he won't be satisfied using Heaven's Door to see Kinoto's back, and that he'll have to see it using his own power.
Removed Rohan telling Kinoto that to sign a contract, they'll have to go to his signature stamp on the 2nd floor. Rohan then drops his eraser as they go up the stairs but Kinoto bends backwards all the way to pick it up for him, telling Rohan to walk ahead of him. The anime skips to Kinoto crawling up with his back toward the stairs.

Added Hayato filming Kira to find out who his dad really is, and Yoshihiro noticing him recording.
Rearranged events of the Enigma Boy, My Dad Is Not My Dad and Cheap Trick arcs to be in this episode, occurring at the same time as Let's Live on a Transmission Tower since they all took place on Thursday, July 15. In the manga, the arcs were shown linearly with flashbacks instead.

Added Koichi being stopped by a mysterious boy on the way to school.
Added Masazo Kinoto with his back to a tree before ringing the doorbell of Rohan's house later on.

Removed Josuke, Okuyasu, and Mikitaka mentioning how the man rode on the bolt like a magic carpet.
Removed Okuyasu being worried as to whether the man is an enemy. He says he wishes they could tell whether he's an enemy just by looking, and Josuke says that they can; if he invites them up to the tower then it's a trap to lure them in. When the man tells them not to come closer, Okuyasu smirks and asks Josuke what that makes him, with Josuke replying that he has no idea. Instead, the anime just has Okuyasu saying that the tower looks bigger than he thought seeing it up close.
Removed Toyohiro saying the toilet collects rainwater to fill its tank and flushes automatically when enough fills up.
Removed Super Fly's infographic detailing every room and contraption that Toyohiro used for daily living.
Removed Toyohiro saying he can't be kicked out because he has the right of residence once he moved in.
Removed the detailed explanation of Toyohiro's calluses on his hands, which are strong enough to support his whole body weight on the cable, allowing him to dangle and use his other arm for something else. The calluses are hardened enough to do other tasks like opening bottles, drive in nails, touch hot surfaces without pain, estimate distances and angles, and create a variety of useful noises such as high-pitched warning noises and complex bird calls.
Epiosde 104 - Cats Love Yoshikage Kira
Added scene of Hayato leaving to school while Kira is trying on Kosaku's shoes. Kira asks Hayato to say goodbye to him, but Hayato leaves without replying.

Added a transition scene from night to day showing Shinobu taking the trash outside, Hayato opening the window of his room, and Kira coming home from work.
Added a Morioh Radio segment about there being a rainbow in the sky.
Shortened Stray Cat's thoughts. In the manga, he recalls that he was attacked by an arrow while peacefully lazing about by a tree and then took shelter from the rain by slipping into a nearby house. He couldn't remember what happened after but since he only relied on instinct and passion, he decided not to bother. The cat tries grooming himself but notes that he smells like a plant. He brushes it off and tries to groom his tail but notices that it's missing, then tries to catch a fly nearby but realizes that he can no longer jump. In the anime, the narrator just mentions that he was hit by an arrow, and then the plant immediately notices that his body has changed.
Removed Shinobu bringing flowers outside to the place where the cat was buried, but kept her saying "Rest in peace kitty".
Removed a paper flying in Stray Cat's direction while Shinobu was outside. In the manga, he rips up the paper and Shinobu asks who's there. She knows she heard something and feels like she's being watched but can't tell from where. The anime skips to Stray Cat noticing her broom and ripping her toenail off.
Removed Kira commenting on Stray Cat growing after eating the bird it killed.
Removed Kira making Stray Cat sniff a cigarette.
Removed Kira telling Shinobu that Hayato has been in his room a lot lately, with her replying that he's probably just playing video games and she doesn't understand why he doesn't seem to mind not having any close friends.
Removed the lines of Kimura and his friends telling him that they'll be late to school while Kira's on the way to work.
Removed a few of Kira's lines about him recalling that Hayato didn't take his hat to school and that he must be up to something. The anime implies it when Kira notices the hats of the other schoolkids and states that something doesn't feel right.
Removed Kira saying that even if someone did get into the attic, Stray Cat would be dormant due to the lack of light so all they would see is a wilted flower. However, he's still worried because of how Hayato's been acting lately.
Added Shinobu asking if Kira forgot his kiss when he returns home.
Changed Hayato's clothes to be the same as what he usually wears (a long sleeve shirt and a vest), whereas the manga had him wear a t-shirt with the D&G brand logo on it.
Episode 103 - Highway Star, Part 2
Removed Josuke saying he sucks at math and shortened his calculations to determine the distance he'll be from Highway Star. Also moved his calculations to be after Highway Star catches up to him at the payphone, rather than before.
Changed Koichi's hair to what they are like in his fight against Sheer Heart Attack. Removed the Adidas brand logo from Koichi's clothes.
Removed Koichi's family member saying they're using the restroom and telling Koichi to pick up the phone, with Koichi complaining that they just told him to walk the dog.
Removed the panels of Koichi asking if Josuke can head towards his house. Josuke replies back that he can't pull a U-turn at 60 km/h because he'll crash, and he doesn't know the streets around him very well either.
Removed the narrator explaining how motorcycles normally don't have a gasoline gauge, and how Josuke doesn't realize the shortage of gas because he is inexperienced.
Removed the nurse asking if Koichi is a family member of Yuya, and a line of her mocking Koichi that they have an ear specialist upstairs if he needs one.
Added scene of Josuke healing Rohan at the tunnel with Rohan still being mad at him, and included Jotaro in the scene as well. In the manga, what happened was only narrated.

Removed Josuke saying that compared to getting two special results in a row, stranger things have happened before like his grandma being hit by the same car twice in one day and being fine afterwards.
Removed the scene with Rohan about to bite the die to test its hardness, until Josuke stops him by saying he forgot to wash his hands after taking a dump earlier.
Removed Mikitaka sweating out of fear, and Josuke sneezing on Rohan to pretend the wetness of the die was from his sneeze.
Removed Tamami's monologue about not being impartial and hoping to see Josuke's finger get cut off.
Added a Morioh Radio segment which mentions Fungami's accident in the tunnel.
Rearranged Hayato spying on his parents to another scene chronologically. In the manga, it shows him watching the surveillance tapes right after the incident with Kira and Shinobu on the same night, whereas the anime moved it to the next day.
Removed Josuke saying he's a young guy so he'll stand in the bus after Rohan told him to sit down, angering Rohan because it implies that Josuke is calling Rohan old.
Removed Josuke thinking that Rohan's a creepy guy, after feeling Rohan glare at the back of his head while sitting down in front of him.

Also removed Josuke saying he never wants to see Rohan's face again during that scene, although Josuke mentions that he had said it when he arrives at the tunnel later on in the episode.
Removed Rohan wondering if he was hallucinating, or whether the tunnel was a trap before he goes in.

Removed Rohan going back into his house to get the dice, though it is mentioned.
Removed Rohan talking about the history of Cee-lo, and taunting Josuke about what the yakuza does to cheaters (shove two dice into your eyes and dump your body in the river; before they kill you, they stab you 21 times because 21 is what you get when you add up each side of the die).
Episode 100 - Janken Boy Is Coming!
Removed Yoshihiro stating that the arrow can not hurt those chosen by it, and Rohan mistaking Ken's cheek hole for a mole.
Removed some of Yoshihiro's monologues and reactions to events (such as the analogy to Alexander the Great when Rohan got hurt by a glass shard while Ken didn't).
Removed a conversation between Rohan and Joseph where Joseph, an avid comic book collector, asks Rohan if there are English translations of his comics (as Joseph is not very fluent in reading Japanese), and Rohan replies in the negative, stating that Americans must either lack taste or can't understand the subtleties of his work.
Removed Rohan reading details about Ken's life (loved soccer and started playing baseball until his coach started complaining about his long hair, blew his nose on the coach's hat when he quit, hates peppers and anpan, likes fatty cuts of meat, afraid of the dentist and namahage, and has never used a public bathroom)

Removed part where Kira physically went to the safe and didn't know how to open it.
Skipped part where landlord acts nice at first before yelling at the Kawajiris to pay their rent.
Episode 98 - Sheer Heart Attack, Part 2
Removed that Kira's jacket is from the brand "Valentina".
Removed Koichi's thoughts about Kira's very normal face and pianist-like hands.
Changed Kira's address from Jozenji, the street of Josuke and Okuyasu, to Kotodai, the street of Reimi. It can be noted that during Kira's death scene in the manga, he is said to live in Kotodai.
Added Okuyasu using his Stand to pull Josuke and Koichi away from Aya's explosion.
As Koichi looks for Yoshikage Kira, characters Mikitaka Hazekura, Yuya Fungami and Terunosuke Miyamoto are added to the crowd of people.
Additionally, Kira (now disguised as Kosaku) can be seen from far away leaving the area in a white suit and dark purple pants.
Episode 97 - Sheer Heart Attack, Part 1
Added an image of Sheer Heart Attack's skull on Kira's left hand as he thinks about its powers.
Added Sheer Heart Attack's heat vision before attacking Koichi and being distracted by Jotaro.
A few descriptive phrases containing severe profanity were omitted from ACT 3's dialogue.
Episode 96 - Yoshikage Kira Just Wants to Live Quietly, Part 2
When Killer Queen is revealed, its skull is shown briefly before forming skin and morphing into the iconic face.
Kira's neck injury done by Harvest remains through the rest of this arc, even including him licking his own blood when interrogating Shigechi and having neck bandages after the gathering of the protagonists.
A sign warning middle-schoolers from going to the high-school section is included when Shigechi tries to escape Kira.
During the gathering of Josuke's comrades, Aya Tsuji is included; making a statement foreshadowing her encounter with Kira.
When Kira crosses paths with Josuke in the manga, he is seen wearing a different tie and shirt. The anime replaces this with his outfit from the Sheer Heart Attack arc.
Kira is shown destroying his previous hand before following the woman complaining about her boyfriend.
During the scene of the woman complaining about her boyfriend, the anime added a background character. This character is also shown before Koichi meets Jotaro.
Added scenes with Kira and the hand of the woman who was complaining about her boyfriend, a Morioh Radio segment and Koichi walking through the streets before finding Jotaro.
Before meeting up with Jotaro, a scene with Koichi walking past St. Gentlemen's where girls are talking about their friend is added.
Added that Kira has been found four days after Shigechi's death and 3 days before the 1st of July.
Added that the tailor can not see Sheer Heart Attack but only its trail.
Episode 95 - Yoshikage Kira Just Wants to Live Quietly, Part 1
Added new scenes with Kai Harada, Kira cutting his nails with a bowling pin shaped nail clipper, preparing breakfast and actually showing him giving a ring to the severed hand.
Added a line referencing Koichi and Yukako being together, which didn't happen yet in the corresponding manga chapters.
Added lines of dialogue between Josuke and Okuyasu about the sauce in their food when Kira is trying to get the sandwich bag.
Kira putting on gloves to hide his fingerprints while in the gymnasium is removed.
Removed Kira checking if anyone could see him before releasing Killer Queen.
Episode 94 - Yukako Yamagishi Dreams of Cinderella
Since this episode takes place before Yoshikage Kira Wants to Live Quietly rather than afterwards, Yukako sees Koichi and runs away only to happen upon Salon Cinderella. Originally, Yukako sits at Cafe Deux Maggot until Joseph convinces her to visit the salon in order to find love.
During the scene where everyone shows up to interfere, further dialogue from Joseph towards Yukako is also omitted. Yukako's left eye twitching is added.
Dialogue depicting Yukako meeting two children talking about having a lover and Koichi talking about Angelo Rock's growing fame at Rengatei is added.
When Yukako goes to meet up with Koichi after her first try at Aya's salon, she has an inner monologue where she doubts the ability of the makeup to bring her luck.
Yukako cutting in line to grab a taxi and using her powers to tie a man's hand to a pole is cut.
When Koichi and Yukako bump into each other after Yukako first tries out Aya's salon, Koichi mentions he doesn't want her to feel bad about what happened before partially because the two are stand users and should get along, although this part is omitted.
Like previous episodes, the café Deux Magots is replaced by Rengatei, but strangely Koichi and Yukako's first date takes place at "Deux Maigots".
When Aya examines Yukako's body, it omits her analysis of Yukako's hand lines.
Cuts why Yukako does not apply the lipstick; the manga reveals that it was because it happens during her kissing Koichi.
When Josuke nearly falls out the window, his Stand now helps him to get back up.
A scene showing Yoshikage Kira walking past Salon Cinderella with a St. Gentleman's bag is added.
The faces proposed by Cinderella to Yukako are still while the manga had them in movement.

Removed the Bank clerk talking to the security beforehand and fused his first and his second talk with protagonists.
Added Josuke biting his lip from the fear of the clerk phoning the ticket buyer.
Added Josuke fixing Okuyasu's hearing.
Added the alcohol store near Shigechi when he falls down.
Added images of Harvest collecting alcohol now labelled "Josefly Daniel's", a parody of Jack Daniel's.
Added a scene with a cat licking itself and being surprised when it sees Shigechi floating away (being carried by Harvest).
Episode 92 - Shigechi's Harvest, Part 1
Yukako and Koichi make a cameo, along with Reimi, Arnold, and Rohan.
Scenes are added depicting people getting Kameyu stamps in stores.
Oddly, although every previous episode replaced each reference of the café "Deux Magots" with "Rengatei", the anime shows a receipt written "Deux Magots" in Josuke's wallet.
Josuke states he saved 20,000 yen to buy shoes, but them being FerragamoW brand is removed.
Added that Okuyasu finds Shigechi's mother to be attractive.
Removed Shigechi chewing bubblegum that he forgot on his mother's picture.
Episode 91 - Rohan Kishibe's Adventure
Several lines present in the manga have been cut.
Heaven's Door is fully visualized and actually touches Reimi before being affected by the Stand's power.
Reimi's murder has more visuals.
The old lady doesn't ask Rohan and Koichi for directions.
The picture of Reimi is depicted.
Reimi is now said to be from Budogaoka high-school.
Rohan does not have to convince the old man to tell him about the night of the murder.
The scene where Rohan confirms his connection to Reimi occurs before the Kira revelation, which is aired during the closing credits instead of "I Want You".
Episode 90 - Let's Go Hunting!
The line with Josuke comparing the rat with Mickey Mouse has been removed.
Jotaro doesn't show the map of where the rats are.
Shortened Josuke lamenting about how he sucks at ball games, even in video games.
Does not tell when Otoishi shot the rats, which was about 10 days beforehand according to the manga.
Josuke lamenting over how expensive his shoes and socks are have been removed.
In addition, his eye-popping expression when his shoes and socks fall in the water was removed.
Jotaro doesn't mention that he can only stop time for one second when removing the dart from Josuke's neck.
Episode 89 - Let's Go to the Manga Artist's House, Part 2
The episode removes Koichi commenting on how Rohan is faster than Crazy Diamond.
Adds a counter of how long it takes for Rohan to devise a plan.
Iggy is included in the Part 3 Joestar Group scene in the anime.
When introducing Josuke's backstory, Koichi and Okuyasu's faces are similar to the ones on the cover of volume 34.
Episode 88 - Let's Go to the Manga Artist's House, Part 1
Removed Rohan's lines about how reading common peoples' lives is of great interest.

A scene is added where Josuke calls Tomoko.
The anime-only Kai Harada returns to read a letter on the air.
A scene depicting an unseen mangaka receiving an envelope containing a Pink Dark Boy manuscript from a Shueisha employee is added.
A scene revealing Josuke Higashikata's Joestar Birthmark is added.
Episode 86 - Red Hot Chili Pepper, Part 2
The detailed descriptions of Akira's guitar aren't mentioned.
An extra scene depicting an unseen Killer picking up a woman's severed hand in the shower is added.
In addition, the Killer can be spotted very briefly from behind amongst a crowd during Red Hot Chili Pepper's electricity drainage of the town.
Removed Otoishi's line about piercing the tire as easily as he would a condom.
Episode 85 - Red Hot Chili Pepper, Part 1
The moment where Jotaro Kujo is informed of Joseph Joestar's coming to Morioh has been moved to an earlier time in the narration, thus is not shown in the previous episode.
Josuke's line about Red Hot Chili Pepper knowing how he sucks at video games is removed.
Josuke's video game is changed to a Gradius-like Shoot 'em upW.
In the Manga, Josuke didn't realize Jotaro was referring to Joseph as the Stand user coming to Morioh until he explicitly says it. In the anime, he figures it out on his own.
Josuke's line about disliking the show in which Sachiko stars is removed.
Episode 84 - Let's Go Eat Some Italian Food
A new scene at the beginning with Tonio menacingly slicing up meat.
Shortened the scene where Okuyasu convinces Josuke to go to the restaurant.
The scene where Tonio explains why he went to Morioh and how he likes it because he can get fresh produce and seafood is moved to when he first serves Josuke and Okuyasu rather than in the manga where he explains it after Josuke and Okuyasu reveal themselves as Stand users.
The scene of Jotaro conversing with a member of the Speedwagon Foundation was included much earlier than it was in the manga.
Episode 83 - Yukako Yamagishi Falls in Love, Part 2

Further details of Koichi's test are briefly visible, including some fragmented thoughts on his situation with Yukako, such as "Hair", "Sweater" and "I must talk to her".
While quizzing Koichi on what PrinceW's lyric "funky music" means, an image of Prince performing is added.
An issue of Pink Dark Boy can be seen in Koichi's room.
During the montage after the revelation of Stand users always meeting, Super Fly is teased.
Episode 81 - Toshikazu Hazamada (Surface)
A scene depicting Toshikazu's friend stabbing his eye out is added, along with another radio show from Kai Harada.
Toshikazu is introduced already slimmed down and short, as opposed to his tall muscular build and subsequent shrinking after being beaten by Josuke in the manga.
One of the mangas in Toshikazu's locker is changed to Pink Dark Boy.
The moment where Surface scratches its face and causes Josuke to do the same now focuses on Surface's deranged face, rather than Josuke whose face begins to bleed.
A scene introducing Yukako Yamagishi early, with her admiring Koichi from afar is added.
Red Hot Chili Pepper spying on Jotaro and Josuke is added.
A scene in which Josuke asks some highschool girls which way "he" went during the chase is omitted.
Episode 80 - Koichi Hirose (Echoes)
Tamami is introduced already slimmed down and short, as opposed to his burly muscular build and subsequent shrinking after being beaten by Koichi in the manga.
Added introduction by Morioh Town Radio.
Many graffiti tags are added, especially on the road where Tamami meets Koichi.
Episode 79 - The Nijimura Brothers, Part 3
Nijimura father's transformation scene is extended.
Okuyasu meeting Josuke for school is added.
Here, Keicho's recollection begins 11 years before (1988) instead of the manga's 10 years (1989), which mean the year before his dad's transformation instead of starting immediately there. Probably done for a clearer story telling, since the story is now told in chronological order instead of going 10 years back then a couple before then to go back to 10 years before.
In addition when showing the flashback of DIO, instead of DIO in his revealed form standing over Earth, only the obscured face of "Shadow DIO" is shown.
In the picture of the Nijimura family, the symbol on Okuyasu's bat is removed.
Keicho's death scene is slightly extended, with electrical interference effects added to his face.
His body is also altered, with his skin and clothing now electrically charred instead of rended and lightly smoked.
Episode 78 - The Nijimura Brothers, Part 2
Josuke is seen bandaging his left hand from Bad Company's attack when entering back into the house.
Certain soldiers of Bad Company lack the unique face paint that denotes their rank. Instead, all soldiers have the same face design.
Keicho is no longer directly shown getting hit in the face with Bad Company's own missiles. Instead, the house's second-floor windows are shown with an explosion coming out of them, followed by smoke.
Episode 77 - The Nijimura Brothers, Part 1
Angelo's flashback is shorter.
Jotaro is now seen reporting data about the Arrow.
DIO and his Stand, The World, aren't seen during Jotaro's discovery of the Arrow, instead just mentioned.
Okuyasu punches Josuke several times after revealing his Stand's power.
Episode 76 - Josuke Higashikata! Meets Angelo
New flashbacks to Angelo's past crimes, including the killing of three young boys cut from the previous episode, is included.
Angelo is shown right away that he is the new milkman while the manga only revealed it after Tomoko noticed the opened bottle.
Josuke is seen playing Oh! That's a Baseball '99, the 1999 version of the game seen in Stardust Crusaders, on a Nintendo 64W. In the manga, he owns a Super FamicomW and the game isn't displayed.
Incidentally, he also has his Stand playing on the Jaguars team.
When Josuke and Jotaro see that Angelo turned on the bathroom's faucet, one glove is missing between two scenes; hinting at Josuke's trick to trap Aqua Necklace.
Season 3
Part 4 - Diamond is Unbreakable
Episode 75 - Jotaro Kujo! Meets Josuke Higashikata
A new scene is included, showing an unseen murderer using a woman's severed hand to make themselves breakfast.
Jotaro is depicted traveling to Morioh in a taxi.
A few extra scenes detailing Angelo's past are added.
However, Jotaro describing the molestation, kidnapping, and murder of three young boys is omitted. This scene is instead included in the next episode.
A scene involving Ryohei helping an elderly woman is added.
When Tomoko is complaining about Josuke's temper, Ryohei doesn't say he gets it from her.
The meeting of Angelo, the Robber, and the Robber's girlfriend is depicted.
Silhouettes of the Nijimura Brothers, Yukako Yamagishi, Toshikazu Hazamada and Rohan Kishibe can all be spotted among the crowd of bystanders witnessing the robbery of Sun-Mart.
Note:
This is the first anime episode to feature an ending preview without a character narration or clips of the next episode, instead the preview was uploaded to the official website.
In addition, this is also the first episode to feature a radically different design and look to the ending preview.
As the cab driver passes a radio tower, he mentions that he always gets a good signal once he gets past it. This could possibly be a foreshadowing reference to Super Fly.
The added scene foreshadowing the Killer as the main antagonist of Part 4 was included at the request of Araki himself.
Episode 74 - Long Travels, Goodbye My Friend
In the anime, Polnareff further embraces the other two during their goodbyes, as opposed to just placing his hands on their shoulders.
Joseph's Walkman doesn't play the cassette tape for "Get Back" by The Beatles at the airport; instead, the tape is unmarked.
An extra scene shows Jotaro in the plane, looking at the photo from SC Episode 25.
Episode 73 -DIO's World, Part 3
Some lines from the narrator and DIO in the manga are not in this episode.
In the manga, the man who fires the shotgun only shows his two hands. In the anime, that man is Nukesaku.
Episode 72 -DIO's World, Part 2
Flashback scenes of Kakyoin's youth: his mother and teacher were added.
Joseph mentions his grandmother Erina when threatening DIO.
The Emerald Splash countered by DIO goes through a signboard instead of destroying a building.
The scene of The World punching through Kakyoin was removed from the actual battle and placed as a flashback later on, possibly done to reinforce suspense and pacing.
After Joseph is fatally stabbed, Hermit Purple is shown crumbling into ashes rather than fizzling out.
Episode 71 - DIO's World, Part 1
Some of the Joestar Group's phrases were removed after DIO killed Nukesaku.
The scene where Wilson drove the car on the sidewalk and mowed down civilians was cut, although the car is shown bloodied after a scene transition.

The Joestar Group's "breaking the door" scene, which chronologically should be placed in the previous episode.

Avdol and Iggy's souls are formed of Vanilla Ice's ashes in the manga, here they are made of smoke coming from one of his Stand's holes.
Episode 69 - The Miasma of the Void, Vanilla Ice, Part 2
Vanilla Ice's demented assault on Iggy is extended, with Ice commenting on how Iggy lacks a "proud soul" and is nothing more than a mutt.

During the discussion between Vanilla Ice and DIO, the Bow and Arrow can be seen hanging on the wall next to DIO.
Episode 67 - D'Arby the Player, Part 2
Three scenes where Telence hits his elder brother were added.

When Iggy protects himself from Pet Shop's first icicle attack, The Fool takes the form of a dome instead of just using its normal body.

None Listed. I will add in when the site that I got this information updates it may take a long time for it to happen or it may not happen.
Episode 62 - Hol Horse and Boingo, Part 1
In the anime, the section where Hol Horse encounters DIO happens after the Crusaders encounter with Daniel J. D'Arby. In the manga, this chapter happens after the Crusader's encounter with Alessi.

D'Arby's cracking-under-pressure and subsequent defeat are extended.

Episode 58 - Set's Alessi, Part 1
An entire scene featuring a recap of the Mariah battle is added, along with Iggy stealing a falafel.
Episode 57 - Bastet's Mariah, Part 2
None Listed. I will add in when the site that I got this information updates it may take a long time for it to happen or it may not happen.
Episode 56 - Bastet's Mariah, Part 1
The scene with the Speedwagon Foundation hoping to speed up Kakyoin's eye recovery was not in the manga.
When Avdol stops the statue from falling on him, he places his hands on its chest in the anime.
