Nishijima: He was there to help the choose children along with is ex-girlfriend Himekawa who is also a new character, he did not know that Himekawa has a hidden objective, and was unable to her even through he somewhat knew that...
The two seem to have a relationship in the past but they broken up for some unstated reason...
He was also a choose child like Taichi and gang, and of cause his group was a group before Taichi gang...
He dies saving Taichi at the end of movie 5 and was shown in movie 6 that he dies after saving Tachi and
Daisuke, Miyako, Iori, and Ken...
He told Taichi the reason they will 'sealed away'...
Himekawa: She helps Taichi's gang with a hidden objective...
Her partner digimon dead in a battle in the past and wants to revival it but failed to do so...
She also made used of Meiko to get the objective she wanted...
That objective as to have a reboot of the digital world...
She then disappeared into the Dark Ocean and was not seen after that...
Gennai: A character that looks like Gennai appears and he takes the of 'Ken' in his 'Digimon Kaiser' look...
The moment 'Ken' appears both Takeru and Hikari appears to remember him all of a sudden...
They only talk about 'Ken' sudden and did not even talk about why Diasuke and the others are missing...
He also appears to tormenting the choose children as well as Meiko...
He seem to looks very happy with what he is doing...
No mentioning who is guy is, and if he is the real Gennai, why the sudden change in him...
Meiko's Dad: Don't even know why he is there for other then the backstory of him running some test on Meicoomon,
and doing something to it...
His inactertion with Hackmon was like I don't know how to said it but its just off to me...
She finally decided to save her partner, only to end up killing it after a short while, and without putting on
a fight with any of them to not kill her partner Meicoomon...
As for the other choose children around the world no mention of them at all, they did not appear to help when there was digimon attack in their own country nor was it mention that they help out in their own country...
All partners: Is still the same as ever...
Agumon keep eating non-stop and the comedy guy throughout the story like in the original series and in 02...
When Takeru was about to tell a ghost story everyone looks scare, Agumon was the only keep eating his food like nobody business that was the only I can remember for Agumon...
As for the rest well nothing much for them too..
As they still cares deeply for their partners...
Patamon was infected and got sick, he reason why he was infected was due to Meicoomon, it also slowly infected the other digimons...
Tentomon tries his very best to save all of their data before the reboot on the digital world
but to no vein...
That was when reboot happened, all of the digimons forgets what happen from the very begin till the reboot point, they can't remember a single...
So their partner set out to make new bond with them, and near to the end of movie 6 we learn that Meiccomon has seal the data of their partners away and needs to retrieval it in order to stop a new reboot on the real world...
All of them got their own time to shine throughout the movies at various parts and all of them are all very short and we only get to see them fight in their Mega-form for a short timing at various part of all 6 movies...
Agumon and Gabumon is the only 2 that gets to shine the most in even its was very short...
They also fought some old enemies and new enemies too...
Overall the story was way too long for me...
The digimon fights are somewhat weak at times...
The plot twists and turns isn't that great either...
So many unanswered question that was represented in the movies not answer at all, even the unanswered or loop-holes in 02 was not fill in at all...
What is 'Homeostatic' and 'Ygdragil' is after, all unanswered...
Also it seem that they intend to end the series with the alignment of the ending that was seen in 02, just DBS wanting to do the ending of DBZ but fail to delivery for me...
It looks as if there more to come in future...
The movie series as whole I will rate 4.5/10...
