Tokyo Ghoul is set in an alternate reality where ghouls, individuals who can only survive by eating human flesh, live among the normal humans in secret, hiding their true nature to evade pursuit from the authorities.
Ken Kaneki, a normal college student who, after being taken to a hospital, discovers that he underwent a surgery that transformed him into a half-ghoul after being attacked by his date, Rize Kamishiro who reveals herself to be a ghoul. This was accomplished by transferring Rize's organs into his body, and now, like normal ghouls, he must consume human flesh to survive. Struggling with his new life as a half-ghoul, he must now adapt into the ghoul society, as well as keeping his identity hidden from his human companions.
The story follows its manga counterpart much closer then the anime did and it did not rush through it like the anime did so, also the CGI was really very nice and very clean as the details of the eye color and Kaneki's mask teeth will very realistic, the fight between Kaneki and Amon were really awesome and very nicely shown, everything about this movie will really very good and awesome even the effects for Kagune was good the cast member's acting will be good as well, Kaneki's actor was one of the best in the movie as the scene where he need to split out all the food that he eat the scene was very nicely translated on the screen... I did hope for it to return before they announce that the movie will be getting a sequel... All the actor and actress in this movie did very well portraying their roles and the director knows his sources material very well too as I stated that it follows its manga counterpart very closely and the pacing too well pretty well paced as opposing to its anime counterpart...
P.S. I still have decide if I will be doing its anime counterpart review even if I do do it it will be after the official end its airing and I will be doing one-shot... Its manga counterpart too is also undecided for now...
